Most places have similar policies. They don't want to be held liable for an employee going Rambo on a thief's ass.

Personally, I think its horseshit. I don't care where I am, if I feel like my lifes in jeopardy, I'll do whatever it takes to protect myself. Those four guys did the right thing.

I stopped and helped a elderly couple he was to scared to get out of the car, thats when you KNOW something is wrong.

Anyhow I changed his tire and he got out when I was almost done and thanked me.

Becuase they did, they lost their income to feed theirself and their family. When they attempt to get another job it will be there on their work history they violated store policy.....

I just heard from my friend's cousin who is a friend to one of them. He told me that they are thinking about suing Wal-Mart to change the stupid policy and some wages.

I know some business have their policy but it was stupid anyway.

 

obviously the pieces of shit that make these decisions at walmart have never made life or death decisions.
when you're put in the position that these 4 were you don't have time to make a decision based on company policy.
all this says it that i can walk into walmart with a gun and walk out with whatever i want.

 

i was scared also, but i was not as wise.

But a week later, all four were fired from their jobs. Walmart said their actions had violated company policy and put their fellow workers and shoppers at risk.


are you fucking serious. these people should be appluaded for not letting it go any further than what it had. that situation could have gotten nasty real quick. its sad to see america go down the drain like it is
