I’m thinking of buying this package, has any one done this one? It’s 3” front 1” rear pro comp suspension lift/level with wheels and tires. I think it’s expensive but it’s a one stop.

call Marie at headstrong offroad, she will take all the guesswork out of doing a lift. For the record a 3x1 lift will leave you nose high.

I have the same Pro Comp 3/1 leveling/lift kit, running 285/70/17’s sitting on 17 inch Fuel Anzas. No rubbing with any other issues. It also doesn’t sit nose high. The truck sits completely level. It all depends on what you are going to do with your truck. I like how my truck looks and do yearly mountain trips where I need a 4x4. It rides great and I have no complaints. It’s your money so do whatever fits your needs.

Nice thanks, do you have a before and after photos? I assume since this is a lot the majority of the spend is the wheels and tires.

This kit is definitely nose high. IMO stay away from 4wheel parts unless you have a Jeep with gaudy black stars all over it.

YouTube it. A guy installs a similar kit. He takes measurements after and the front and back are exactly the same height. Mine is as well. Like I said it is your money. Do what you please. If you want to pay a couple grand for some thing you do not need go for it. If I needed a suspension lift I would get one but this is just not my need right now.

Thanks for the pics, that was the 4 Wheel parts package? What did you get for the OEM wheel set?

    All stock... for now
How are your mechanical skills? If you are pretty savvy, buy any 3” spacer kit and install it yourself. Then buy the wheels you want. I’m exactly like the previous poster, it’s what I wanted for now. I got the 3” rough country spacer kit. It’s like $300 shipped, 18x9 black rhino glamis wheels with 4.5 back spacing, wrapped with 33x12.5x18 MTR’s. Only rubbing was the front valance which a lot of guys remove or cut. Here’s how it sits. I like it a lot.

    Are you asking me?

If so, wheels are Fuel Recoils 17x8.5. Tires are Toyo R/Ts 285/70/17

I was asking what you sold the original Toyota wheels and tires for?

I’ve ridden a taco with that loft. It’s a little jarring ride for me. Maybe I’m used to the off road cushy ride

    Got it.

I just posted them on Craigslist two days ago for $900 obo. We shall see if I get any bites. I see a few on there for 850-900. So the market may be saturated on my area.

In my area over 700 is a tough sell unless your tires are almost new. i had about 28,000 on mine when i sold them.
