I saw that this switch was available and knew that it was something I wanted.
I ordered it from Cartrimhome on September 22nd, and waited...
Hadn't received any shipping information, so I sent a request for an update and waited...
After another week, I sent another request for an update, got one and was told there were manufacturing delays, but would ship soon.
I did receive the switch today, YAY!, Installed it and tested it out, it works, but the driver button sometimes requires more than one press to move the widow. Boooo!
Sent a message to Cartrimhome and now waiting to see what they will do.

You probably already know, but for others that follow, be aware that the rear windows do NOT have the safety pinch/auto-down that the front windows do in case something (like someone's appendage) is in the way. The rear windows will continue to go up no matter what happens. That's why the rear power window switches are manual up/down. FYI. Be safe out there! ;)

All this to avoid keeping a button pressed for 2-3 seconds? I'll pass.

Hmmmm, is there no trim level that comes with this standard? Auto up is fairly standard on cars anymore.

Installing it on Tacomas is problematic, at best. Only the doors that come with it from factory have "pressure sensors" to know if something is coming to be crushed by the window on auto-up. Should pup-pup be decapitated by your large-effort/many-$$ spend?

Fair enough. Surprised that the sensors are not there to tell you the truth. That said, Toyota is proud of their unique assembly line process. So, I guess that gives them the ability to exclude the sensors on the appropriate models.
