Thanks haha just wanted an idea I usually shift between 2500, some times I have to shift at higher rpms due to traffic bit for the most part I stay between that. What really helps me is the downshift I stopped down shifting because I felt like I was making the engine stress too much but I I will ft around 2000 maybe it won't stress as much

You have to take one of those pictures of you jumping in the air, next to it, like the old Toyota commecials that had the mileage next to the owner and vehicle. Anyone else remember those? Awesome to hear such high mileage.

Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.

I remember those commericals, there was one in particular that had the owner and his dog both jumping up!

As for the original post showing the mileage at 400,000 that's pretty cool and good to know, as for myself I'm fast approaching the 200,000 mark, probably will hit it in the next month or so (give or take) on my 2008 Tacoma.

I'm curious- do you have any idea at all how much $$ you've spent on parts/repairs/maintenance in those 400k miles (not counting mods/mod repairs)?

I just flipped two 2000 4Runner's, both with about 200k miles, and both steering wheels completely worn out. I've dealt with it in 2000+ Sequoia's too.

Closing in on 404k, but most miles are now going on the 2016.

Do you anticipate a similar pace for racking up miles on the 2016?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
That's gonna be one helluva hard truck to retire! Thanks for the read, OP.

I like it. Most changes good, a few bad; Much more refined interior, GREAT 6 speed transmission, stiffer frame, much quieter.....and a bit less low end torque...and a damn moonroof to get the other tech package items. All in all, I am glad I bought it.

As i sit here getting ready to get off work reading this, i was going over the repair list, i see 5 windshields... it just made me laugh! glad you have gotten so much out of your truck! i hope to do the same. This is my 4 toyota truck and my first two made it over 300K even with the stupid headgasket problems (3.0 motors)
