I just ordered it a few days ago and haven't gotten it yet. There was a thread on here and it showed where people mounted theres. There were two different locations, one right above the the wheel on the column infront of the gauges, and the second above the rearview mirror. I think that I'm going to try and mount mine there.

I try to get 400 every tank. I usually end up around 380 when I fill up with 1/8 of a tank left

I play the " How many miles can I get out of this tank " While watching the numbers on the scangauge which seems to like 60-62 MPH , anymore and the gas mileage goes down fast. The other thing I have tried is paying the extra money and fill up with premium gas, I can get almost up to 2 more MPG but mostly 1.5 MPG.

I can reach that 400 mark every time as long as I can restrain my foot and burn the good stuff.

He probably drives 40 on the highway. You would get mowed over in Atlanta if you do less than 70-75.

Nope, I do about 75% suburban roads (city outskirts, 35-45 mph with stoplights) and 25% on the highway at 70mph. Being an auto I accelerate fairly slowly to keep shift points at low RPMs (I can get it into 5th at 32mph on flat ground).

I only use 87 octane but I don't fill up with anything that has ethanol in it. That's an automatic 10% reduction in MPG.

32mph in 5th gear is barely above an idle, 1100 RPMs or so. Awesome for good mileage. It doesn't lug on flat ground and I accelerate a bit before hitting even a slight incline to keep that from happening. Now, if only I could get rid of the stop lights...

I was able to average about 20-21mpg driving mostly city miles in my hometown. Keep in mind that the town is very spread out with suburban like roads/expressways and is absolutely flat. I ran a 2006 Access cab, Sport, V6, with an auto. Basically tried to keep shifts between 1500 and 2000 rpm, and coasted a lot to stoplights (i know nearly every stoplight's programming, so I could time lights just right). I think the most I got out of a tank was 428 miles. It may have been 418, can't remember exactly.

tch... I get 18.6 most of the time I bother to check.... 18.7 if I'm being "nice." Honestly it's a truck. I'm going to drive as the traffic flow and situation dictates. If I have a lead on a green light, I gotta take advantage of that and burn some fuel. Also, being in AZ most of the roads I take... if you're going under 80 you're getting mowed down. Add in the high ethanol count.... why bother.

damn must be nice! I don't even look at how many miles I get per tank anymore. From all the different things that I've tried in the first 2 years, I've never gotten consistently over 17 mpg.

The only time I saw a complete increase in mpg was when I experimented drafting behind a semi. After probably pissing him off for about an hour, I realized that I was doing an A-Hole move, so I stopped and have never done that since.

I used to get roughly 240 a tank. Recently I've been shifting sooner and being gentle with her. I pulled about 330 out of her. :D I'm so happy!
