Bought one of those plug and play harnesses to enable 400w anytime, didn’t want to cut wires

2022 OR, so should be compatible:
Got it from caliraised, I have a in cab outlet pre wired ready to use but not plugged into anything since even just the 400 anytime isnt working

With harness plugged in, I press my 400/100 switch and it doesn’t light, bed outlet doesn’t work at all with it plugged in

Unplugging it back to OEM and everything is back to normal

Think I got a faulty wired harness?

I’d contact caliraised or the mfg of the harness

I got one from redside and haven’t installed it yet.....one of the many sidelined projects.

I would take the details of the mod and compare it to the harness they sold you to see what they have done differently or what's wrong. It's probably something simple, it'd have to be since the mod is super easy.

They ended up sending a new harness and its been working and with an outlet I installed, I should of looked at if it was correct though, risky electronics to mess with!

Has 2 tamper proof receptacles and USB A and C - I just cut a hole to size centered and didn't use the wall plate - doesn't look out of place at all, will find and edit picture in tomorrow
Lets me charge anything I will ever have a cable for

Why would you want to use the inverter to make power for a USB C outlet? Turning 12v to 110, back to 5-20v is really inefficient. Just wiring a usb-c port to your trucks 12v would be much better.

Here are a couple ideas for you for the future incase you change your set up.

400 watt anytime from Guild Outfitters with a factory plug.

And using the center console with this panel installed gets you 12v and USB/USBC to the rear. Really like how it can be turned off/on when needed. It is simply wired to the 12v in the center console so it only has power when the truck is on.
