Installed the 400watt In-Motion Harness with 120volt outlet. Along with the 120volt outlet I installed a usb port in the rear of the center console.

    Thanks @GuildOutfitters

Getting my order ready now. This will just provide 400w to the installed ac outlet but the outlet in the bed is still a max of 100w in motion, correct? Anything I can do to max both to 400w if needed?

    none yet
the mode lets the inverter run in 400W mode all the time
so if you add an outlet in the cab and leave the one in the bed will both be able to run a total load up to 400W between them

THAT is helpful... I'll hook up my power station to both and see exactly how much it's drawing while on the road. Being able to charge a power station at 400w while driving is a game changer. I'm pretty excited about this one. Getting my order submitted now

Looks like there's a new version coming out right as I was getting ready to order the existing kit.

Anyone have any details? @kmorgan3 ?

Minor update to keep stock much MUCH more stable. I’ll let Shaun elaborate, but kits are almost ready to rock!

Well, I still haven't installed the kit I bought back in February. Maybe I'll wait to see the new version.

Same here. Wondering if the changes are substantial enough to get the new kit or just go ahead and install the old one. I got the kit without the outlet.

It looks pretty sweet. I have the old kit with the wiring to make the rear bed outlet 400 watts all the time. I might order this new kit to get the outlet but not sure if I would actually ever use it. Would be nice to have it though in case I want to run my fridge (or anything else for that matter) inside the truck.

The team is driving to overland expo at the moment so it’ll be a bit until you get more updates. The new kit seems to have been linked already — essentially it’s a new outlet that will keep stock consistent along with a more thought-out kit of install tools. Each kit comes with a metal template that was designed for the footprint of the new outlet along with a template-cutting bit that fits on a drill. Think of it like a router bit but more accessible for people that don’t have one. It makes install incredibly easy and less daunting for people that have shaky hands.

Looks like the template doubles as a bottle opener. Brilliant

Hopefully someone is back at home base shipping these hot new outlet kits out. Leaving for Colorado/Utah/New Mexico in 10 days and would like to get an outlet up front just for whatever pops up.
