Yukon Gear makes an air locker but if you are looking for a selectable locker other than the elocker or ARB, you are looking at changing your axles completely (solid axle maybe, then you would have an OX available to you). ARB really is the locker to use. If you want an elocker that is strong, you will need to either get one from a 2016 or a 9" Landcruiser. IMO

And I am one that did an elocker delete and replaced it with an ARB loaded 8.4. That is a much stronger diff than the elocker.

Leave them rant. You make up your own mind. If you are going to drive on the street, or want to be able to turn your shcool bus off road, I would strongly suggest you get a selectable locker. Let that (IMO) idiot have his 12 minutes of fame. Yes, you will probably have to change the orings from time-to-time and you may have a relay or a line leak but you will have a truly selectable locker with the convenience of an open diff for most driving conditions.

I have yet to have to change my orings on my ARBs one of them has been used for over 6 years.

Let me say this, if that is what you want, leave the truck as it is. I am not familiar with the 2013 traction control but ATRAC (what I have) is a very good alternative using what is there - anti-lock brakes, etc..

Actually you can't get an OEM electric locker for the 8.4 diff that I know about, it was only in the 8" diff that I'm aware of.

I've had an eaton e locker in another rig and didn't care for it much. It wasn't like the factory electric lockers in my rubicon. Look it up on YouTube, it requires a partial rotation to lock as it "ramps" up. If you change from forward to reverse it has to unlock as it ramps down, and ramps up in the other direction. Not even remotely ideal if you're stuck and trying to rock the truck or something. Besides you are relying on electronics in the diff vs a couple air lines. The arb is much stronger and quicker to operate. Having air on board is a huge bonus anyway.
