I went through the same thing when I ordered mine off Amazon. I got lucky and got the correct one with the cut outs and didn't smell like shit. Without Prime IIRC I think shipping was around $50 give or take. With Prime it was free 2 day shipping.

Looks great! You gonna plug the holes with some lights?

Know that feeling all too well.

My daughter came up to me the other day and asked if we could go to Colorado next year instead of going to Alaska? I said "I thought you wanted to go to Alaska?" She said "I do, but I really miss Colorado". That's my girl :)

That's good because that's what I'm building the truck for. Once I'm out there this truck will spend the rest of it's life in the mountains.

Yeah, this is really annoying. I thought it would be a drop kick, and instead it sounds like a total crap shoot.

Do you have the exact vendor name it came from?

Yep... I believe that was who I got it from. I read the reviews like you and took a chance. I figured if it was one of the bad one's I'd just send it back until I got a good one. Turned up two days later and it was perfect. It was the very first thing I bought when I bought my 2011 and it still looks new. I like the OEM mat also but never could find a deal on one. I will say one thing about the DeeZee. Nothing slides in or out easy. Don't know if that's good or bad. Depends on what you are looking for it to do I suppose. But the surface of it is extremely grippy (if that's a word?).

    Sigh. Fuck. Hmmm.

I keep a hoe in my bed for pushing stuff all the way to the front, and pulling it out again, all while standing on the ground, which is a big deal with a cap...and, uh, a 50- body.
From bricks to bins to you name it. Makes it easy on the mat, and you can use your body weight/mechanics to overcome the friction quite easily.

If you are going to take a chance and order one you might want to wait until tomorrow when the big "Prime" sale is going on. Who knows... You might get it even cheaper. I don't know what all they plan on putting on sale but they've been advertising the 15th for quite a while now.

If I could afford it I probably would. Unfortunately since the CG decided to send me 3k miles away from my son I'm using my measly pittance to pay for airfare on a fairly frequent basis.

Funny you say that. 150k miles, what price would you expect from your Cal experience?
