    Morning MQQSE,
How's the new truck? I've got a cousin who is a Dodge enthusiast. He just bought a new Big Horn crew cab 4x4. I will have to admit that it's a smooth ride.

    Morning

I'm liking it! :) The room is very nice and my first two tanks I'm averaging 17 - 18 MPG; I was getting 19 - 21 with my 4cyl/5spd. So far I'm happy with my decision. Fits my needs and wants.

That looks like the same fellow who strapped a jet-engined wing on his back and raced the Top Gear guys around a course.

How does she do it. Never mind don't tell me.

Short video of a thunderstorm that passed over the house. It's about 20 miles in the distance. Elevation 387'

Finally was able to fly it after a month of shitty weather.

I can't fly right now because DJi still has mine since the crash unfortunate mishap. I'm kinda geeking out on the new black pro and might order one soon and keep the repaired bird as a backup.

Digging the video, though. Keep it up.

It was just a quick video I put together in about 5mins. Didn't do any post processing at all. Just thought the rain and storms looked cool about 20 miles away. It's amazing how fast this Mac is. What would have taken more than a hour not including uploaded to YouTube only took 5 mins and uploaded.

    Sorry rant on..........

Noah told his dad that he wanted to stay here this weekend because we were going to go look at a puppy to replace Simon (had him put down in feb). His dad got all pissed with him and said " I've had enough of your shit" to Noah. WTF kind of father does that to his kid. With all the shit we've been through with Noah, you would think his father could grow up and not try to push Noah over the edge. I am pretty sure his father has been a big part of the major issues he has had in the last year.

On the good side, Noah has handled this very well tonight. He has also been handling stress from friends and we very well. He's starting to mature and be able to see his own self worth. Not letting others determine it for him.

    Ok, rant off.

I had a quick chat with Noah this morning. He seemed to be doing well. I told him that he is finding out things we have known for a long time about his father. Mainly, he's an asshole.

We went through a similar thing when my parents got married. My dad had 2 sons (step brothers to me) and Scott is a year older than me. He was nothing but trouble from the time we moved in. My dad's ex wife married a shit bag and they let him get away with anything he wanted and when he came back home the rules didn't seem to apply to him. Long story short... He got busted many times and was sent to a Sheriff's Ranch in the Northern part of the state. Ended up getting in a fight there and got put in jail. After his release he started cooking Meth and was sentenced to 7 years in federal. Got released and seemed to get his life in order but as far as I know he's back in prison. It's amazing the amount of effect someone can have on someone else. Sad situation.

Yep, Noah gets what ever he wants at his dad's. He thought for the longest time that is how life is supposed to be. He hated us for having rules. No rules as a kid = huge asshole as an adult.

Well... PS4 is about to die I think. Won't hold connection to wireless or LAN. Completely shuts off my internet at home every so often and last night at the station got booted about 5 times in a hour. I've connected it to multiple sources and can find nothing wrong with the settings in the console itself so... bought a new one because why not? I've had this one for almost 3 years and it has given me 1000's of hours of enjoyment.

But as usual I went overboard

Got to have a white one

And while I was at it

Got to have a pair of Sennheiser GAME ZERO Gaming Headsets and the adapter to plug into my Turtle beach surround sound amp.

I probably would have just got it fixed seeing how the 4K PS4.5 is supposed to be out soon

I'll buy it when it comes out and the VR with it. Then I'll just leave this one at the station rather than packing it up every 3 days.

Still using a PS3 (second one), not so much for gaming but for the DVD/Blu-Ray. It does a better job at playing DVDs than the dedicated player we had before we got the first PS3.
