Yeah, I'm over it now. I can still pass for 30 and have most of my hair, so its not that bad. I would like some of the cartilage back in my knees, though!

Meh, cartilage is over rated, I've been bone-to-bone in my left knee for 35+ years, no cartilage at all...

Jeez! I'm thankful that mine's not that bad. I just have deterioration of the cartilage from years of running, which I had to quit doing last year to preserve what's left.

A few quick pictures out in front of the house in "basically" pitch dark (other than the street lights). 15sec exposure. The stars that show up are not visible to the naked eye from this location due to all the light pollution. These are raw unedited pictures but they came out surprisingly well considering.

That's before any post processing in lightroom. Those are just RAW files. I'm pretty happy with how the camera performs in low light conditions. When I say that I can not see any stars from my location it is exactly that. There is so much light pollution around here that it makes it impossible to see. Seeing the backside of the moon was kind of a cool effect I thought.

Oh absolutely, this time last year I was living in northern Nevada (eastern Sierras) & at night the sky was just awash with streaks & clusters of stars & atmosphere can only imagine what kind of images you'd capture with good equip. & knowledge...

We were traveling through Arizona a while back at night and you could clearly make out the Milky Way. A long exposure shot of that would be amazing.

Take the 50 across Nevada. It's called the loneliest highway for a reason. Been across it more than once and I'll tell you, from sunset in Reno to Ely on the border of Utah you'll be lucky if you see one car.

Being carbon fiber wouldn't it be more sensitive to vibrations/subtle movement during exposure time ? Or would that even matter ? I'm photographically challenged...
