I just got done face timing with my grandkids, son, and Kristi. They all look and sound happy and secure. Which makes me a very happy camper. :bucket:

Lol... I drive a Camry right now so I don't have a dog in this hunt. In less than 4 years it will be my daughter's car which is very hard to fathom how fast time flies.

Well... I have the house to myself this weekend. I had to work yesterday and my wife and daughter are at the lake and won't be back until tomorrow night. So I'm binge watching Band of Brothers. It's been a few years since I've watched it and I've got the boxed DVD set. Band of Brothers is the bar I use to measure whether a show is worth watching. When someone recommends a show for me to watch I'll ask them "is it anywhere as good as Band of Brothers?". Usually the answer is no. The only shows that have come out that even come close are the first season of True Detective and I'm really caught up in Billions right now although I have to wait another year before the next season comes out.

Band of Brothers is the best movie, series, whatever you want to call it ever made. My Grandfather is 97 and is the last remaining survivor of WWII in his church of which there are over 5000 members. We are losing the greatest generation at a pace now that it won't be long that none of the WWII survivors will be around to tell the stories.

I think it really struck me when we were in DC a few months ago. Once you step foot onto Arlington National Cemetery and you see all the tombstones you realize what true service to this country is. It is truly hallowed ground.

If war has to happen (which I wish it didn't) this is how it should end.

Dude... every day I drive it I love it more. Of course I've got a lot of shit in it like the Navdy and it's loaded with everything. One of the best "riding" cars I've ever owned.

I feel that way about Kristi's Highlander ... I'm not crazy about the front end styling cues, but it's one very comfortable ride.

    Stuff. Also things.
That scene is pretty powerful. Especially the speech that the German general gives his men. I love that (former First Sgt) Lipton was the one who was tasked with accepting the surrender, as he was far and away my favorite character.

I'm not kidding man. I like the way it looks, it's quiet, rides great, and just an all around nice car. If I'd of gone the cheap route that Rob did I might think differently but I'm a man that buys loaded shit and not some cheap shit.

Says the man that drives a Camry lol
