Got our dyson when the old hoover died. Definitely easier to empty and clean and we have lots of critters to clean up after (humans and felines). Can't talk about reliability yet.

Wife finally broke down and bought her Kirby Vacuum about 12 yrs ago. Her mother has had the same Kirby for, hell, probably 30-35 yrs. Expensive, yes -- worth it, yes. All I got.

    Oh, I enjoyed the essay/creative writing. :)

Good news, Noah was not on my front door step.

But got confirmation that he was doing everything we thought he was doing. You name the drug, he's probably tried it in the last month. He has no money and today is his last day to live where ever he was living.

It's tough to watch them make mistakes and unfortunate that they probably need to make mistakes to learn. My heart goes out to you.

    Yup

Sorry to hear that man, sounds like he is choosing the hard road to life. Not much you can do about it though, he isnt going to listen even if you are inclined to try.

We just have front row seats to the train wreck that is about to happen. I just hope it's a small train wreck and he can recover from it.

Get to the fucking doctor. My wife was having chest pains and difficulty breathing last August. She went to the cardiologist, and they cleared her of having any blockages and said it was just fluid, so they prescribed diuretics to clear the fluid. Well, that night she had a hot and painful spot on the back of her leg. I told her to get back to the doctor and have them check it out. She put it off since she was supposed to take her dad to the doctor instead. I told her to cancel that because if it was a clot that broke loose, it could kill her. Long story short, she didn't listen and I was right. Pain is the body's way of telling you something's wrong. Ignore it at your own risk.

We've been going to counseling with the counselor that we had with Noah. She's handling it fairly well. You can see it affects her, but she knows, as we all do, that there is nothing we can do. After he attacked her then i had to physically remove him back in January, she has known that he can't ever be trusted to live in our house. Without his meds, and even with, he is too unstable.

We are willing to help, if he asks.

That's scary man. All of you are right. I'm just such a pussy about doctors and dentists. I'm old enough to know better, but I watched my Dad have hernia surgery a year ago and he struggled physically in the days following. He was 69 then, but still. That really hit me. Seeing my Dad, my own personal Superman, struggling with recovery after a small surgery was really hard. The kicker is all the while he was telling me about how he had known he had his hernia for a few years, I'm sitting there listening and saying to myself, ya, I get it, me too. But I could see he was hurting and I didn't want to in any way act like I was downplaying his situation. I still haven't told him about my deal. I'm working up the energy to make the appt...

This might sound harsh but GO TO THE DR! It's not going to go away by itself no matter how much you want it to. I hate going to the Dr. as much as the next person. We all want to be healthy and nothing to be wrong with us but shit happens. Life is too short to live with pain if you can do something about it.
