I only work every third day so I'll play either during the day sometimes or at night after everyone goes to bed. Figure of I go to bed late I can maybe grab a nap at work the next day. Used to play till 2 or 3 in the a.m. with the group on xbox. I haven't played in a week or so because of getting my website up and all the crap that goes along with it to get everything in order to ship stuff. I was playing Fallout 4 but then got Metal Gear Solid V and been hooked on it.

You said they only hook up through usb then bluetooth to your headset correct? If so you aren't doing something right in the settings.

These are the settings for mine

    Go to setting and devices

    Audio device

    Input device

    Then output device

Make sure they are all showing up as your headset. Then go into Sound and Screen and choose Output device. Make sure it shows your headset

Under the same Sound and screen choose Audio output settings

No matter which headsets you choose you will have to make these changes or at the very least check to make sure that they are reading your headset. Also make sure to use chat only for your headset even though the game sound will come through. Again, it doesn't matter what headset you choose. You will HAVE to make or check these settings for them to work properly (even the sony brand which I'm not impressed with). I much prefer the 5.1 surround sound and the amazing audio of the Astros. But you will pay a premium but it's worth it just for the sound. You don't realize what you miss until you buy a good set of headphones.

I'm still using the good old Polk Audio plug in headset. Have an issue every once in a while with peeps not hearing me but it's usually just a matter of adjusting the mic a little. I'd like to get a bluetooth set sometime but it just irritates me dealing with either batteries or having to keep them charged all the time.

Which is why I sit about 4' from mine with the 34" Curved Ultrawide 4k monitor so I don't have to deal with wireless.

    Yes, among other reasons.

Go to settings > general > background app refresh and toggle off apps you don’t need this for. Made a big difference for me.

    Still not great though.

How true! Every generation sees the one that it created as the downfall of society.

Nope. The PS4 Pro has a usb plug in the back along with the optical output that the mixer plugs into. That is another reason that I don't like the Xbox 1. The headset support is extremely lacking compared to the PS4's choices.

I did all that, since yours are plugin it comes up as that. Mine is supposed to be set to ALL AUDIO which it is. I'm on tech support with Logitech right now. If I cant get it to work, the ones you have are on the way already, due Friday. Then I'll have to see what cord I need to get in 12' so it can go from the TV to my chair.
If I can get them working today, I'll just send yours model back.

Remeber Chris? Man that was a fucking war between him and 4x2. He got banned YEARS ago, I actually knew him personally. Was a cool guy, a little weird though.

You should just need a long 3.5 adapter cable with a male connection at one end and a female on the other end

Yeah I do. I liked the guy and kept in touch with him for quite a while until he just kind of faded away.

So wait, that has a mixer that actually gets a surround signal via optical and gives you simulated surround through the headphones? That's badass. May have to upgrade from mediocre.

Yup... and you can set whatever eq you would like in 4 different modes. So whatever you hear beside you or behind you, you can tell.

*EDIT* And they sound amazing for music if you just want to listen. The bass is unreal.

Yeah, I got the Logitechs working on my laptop and once I check the PS4 if they work. But, now that I have those OTW I may have to bust them open and try them out to see which ones I return :anonymous:
