Nah, my wireless Platinums work fine for me. I haven't turned the PS4 on in a couple of weeks I think, but now that the new God of War is out and has awesome reviews . . .

You just have to appear like you know what you're doing and they'll believe it.

You have to triple-up into some horizontal/diagonal markets. Running a hair/nail boutique, breeding small dogs, and dog grooming all together (with some separation between the people and dog grooming places) can get you through, apparently. But you can't do just one.

It's all these math shortcuts they teach these days. Kids shortcut their way through school thinking they don't need math, and then they can't do simple addition (paycheck) and subtraction (bills).

    Get off my lawn.

I had a older lady a while back we went out to that had broke her hip. We get her in the back of the ambulance and she looks terrified.

    Kinda went like this.

    Me: You ok?

Her: I'm just scared, this is my first time on a ambulance.

Me: Relax it's ok. I'm just as scared as you are.

    Her: Why is that?

Me: This is my first time in an ambulance too. Now we need to start this IV or something.

    Her: Are you serious???

Me: No, I'm kidding. I've been doing this for 23 years. :)

I was mainly joking, I'm being grumpy. But we're here for you, I'm sure it's not easy even if it's not your own spawn. So far I have been lucky, but that is probably going to get rocky soon. We'll see. My oldest is self-driven and responsible. Younger one? Too smart for her own good. Proud of her for that, got a 33 on the ACT as a HS junior. But totally unmotivated and entitled. That's more my fault than anything, and I have to own it and try to correct it. Wish me luck.

Not that I had any idea of where I wanted to be as an adult when I was young adult, but feel your pain. My daughter has been all over the place. A few career choices were fallowing boy friends. Then it was social work. Now she’s on to social media and communications. At least a bs in comm will be versital.

If there is a God he hates Ar. also. A tornado hit northern Ar. last night. Tore up a lot of buildings and a few people were injured but thankfully no fatalities. We had 3 rounds of sever thunderstorms roll through last night and it rained like hell. Looks like I picked the right day to mow the yard.

God of War doesn't release until the 20th. Already have it pre ordered.

Hey Guys! Busy couple of days. Closed escrow on the house we were selling. Money is in the bank. Always a good thing.

My older son came home on Friday and helped us move. The two of us moved an entire household in a 26 foot uhaul in a day. My 46 year old body took a beating but has bounced back pretty well.

Got up this morning at 5:30 am and made the trek from Laguna Niguel to Santa Barbara for the Admitted Students Spring Insight. My younger son was admitted to the Engineering College for Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara. There were 3000 applicants for 60 enrollees in this highly impacted major.
He was admitted to 14 of the 19 schools he applied to in the very competitive Engineering majors. Some of his other acceptances include Santa Clara University, LMU, Wisconsin, Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Virginia Tech, Colorado School of Mines, Cal Poly SLO, UC Davis, TCU, Chapman, and Others. He received multiple very generous scholarship offers as well.

He committed to UCSB this evening

Indeed it was. A lot of things up in the air with selling a home, moving, college acceptances. Glad to have some closure on all of it and moving forward with some clarity.

Good to see Epson bringing the tank technology down to the consumer level now. I got sick of using the HP's a long time ago and bought one of the Brother Pro series 7 years ago. That thing is a beast. Can scan and print up to 11x17. Has worked flawlessly for all these years and printed thousands of pages. Back then Office Depot was offering a $50 instant rebate for turning in a old printer. I paid around 200 for it hen I got it. My Mom has one also and hers had a issue with it not staying connected to the wifi. Brother sent her a new one and paid to have the original one returned to them.

Our Canon printer started throwing codes a few weeks ago. Right after I bought a full set of cartrtidges, of course! So I bought another one, same make/model, 80 bucks. I'll take that price.

I like the wireless features of these new printers -- ours has an email address you can send a document to and it will print it. But they seem to be disposable these days like to do "printer maintenance" without asking, burning through ink. Our last one got all clogged up after just a couple of years. I tried to clean it out but it still wouldn't print right.

I never buy warranties, but I did on this one.
