There is a penalty where I live. If the Fire Dept. responds to a call at your address false or otherwise you can expect a bill. If you’re doing a controlled burn, better call and let them know, if someone drives by and calls in a fire that they don’t know about they will respond put it out and bill you!:(

thanks Rob II, Its always a team effort, that in itself is a reward. I know many of us +40yr olds on this very thread share the same values as you've expressed, each in their own way, to look out not just for themselves but also family, and even strangers, because its the right thing to do for those around us in our short life time here.

Yeah. 40 is tough. Decided not to drink anymore. The side effects are tough almost a year later. I bought a tacoma. Lifted, supercharged, and now I'm modding it endlessly. It was fine until my girlfriend left. Then I got a different one. Now she came back. Crap. What to do?!? Now they're friends. And I have both of them now. Problem is they want ANOTHER girl to join. Life was simpler when I owned a dodge.

Believe it or not I actually went to sleep before 2 am last night. Woke up around 10 am which is the longest I've slept in quite a while.

Surprisingly I've only glanced at Amazon for Prime day. There just isn't anything that I really want or need at the moment (that never stopped me from buying anything before  ). I imagine I could find something to buy if I got on but most of the stuff I buy are niche items that I already have or don't need. That's a good price on the Yeti but I have no use for it right now. The only two things that I could think of is another 1TB SSD external drive and a Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. I should have bought the telescope last year as it was discounted way more than it is this year. Last year they dropped the price to $799 for the 8" but this year they only dropped it to $999. I may look for a SSD though. Damn you Murph... Fuck ;)
