I wasn't implying that at all. I just know there are some that would take that out of context. They are watching us :tinfoilhat:

It’s a strange transition. I had a few anxiety attacks within the first year, but life moves on and I can’t imagine being back in.

Nice! That’s some good pay. Our CWO selection process is mind boggling. Applied several times but I guess the board didn’t like me too much so enlisted I stay. E8 and hit 22 next month.

    Awesome!

My co-worker is a retired E8 with about 22 in. TBH, I consider him my boss, since he’s been with the program longer. He’s become a good friend. The other contractor in our section is a retired CW3, that replaced me in the PM Office, when I retired.

We send him (the FNG) out for coffee and donuts. :D

I knew a lot of the pilots there when stationed there, was such a small post it was hard not to know everyone there.

It’s hard not to work with and around retired AD people. A lot of the ones I’ve worked with or around have been great. There are exceptions though.

I'm a Dunkin' fan myself but like a little variety. Not a big fan of dark roasts and overpriced stuff, you can keep your Starbucks and iPhones. My wife bought a variety pack of BRCC, really like their Just Black (that is how I drink it). Great flavor. Silencer Smooth is too light, Beyond Black too dark but would be good in an iced coffee with milk and sugar (but I don't drink those). I typically just get the big bulk packs from Sam's, the donut shop and Columbian.

EDIT: Shit, conversation changed too fast. Coffee Talk ended a while back.

For me, it's collecting and brokering high end, early Japanese electrics. It's also something that ties me to my teen yrs when I started playing.

For sure each guitar has it's own sound/personality that comes from the design, pickups, age, environment, wood.

I play quite a bit, but I don't consider myself a player. Just someone who enjoys the craftsmanship. It's like a time capsule back to the 80's.
