Welp... First review I've seen of the new Supra. I'm personally a fan but I don't ever see myself buying one for the $60k + that the dealers will be marking them up. Even when they settle down to their asking price of $55k I still think I would buy something else. I personally love the look and sound of the car. I'm sure it drives as well as it looks. It just doesn't hold that special place in my heart that the 84 Supra my dentist had when I was a kid.

I'm not a fan of the looks. I thought the LFA was better looking but it was in another league. I'd still rather buy a 80's/90's Supra over a new one.

I don't mind the looks. It just doesn't strike that cord that the 80's Supra had when I was growing up. I'm with you, I'd much rather have one of those than the new one but that is more nostalgia than anything.

The LFA was a technological masterpiece. Considering it was in pre-production for almost 10 years and halfway through that, they completely scrapped the project and started from scratch. The LFA never made Toyota a dime. They lost money on everyone sold. But it was their "Halo" car and proved what they "could" do. That engine.... Man...

So it finally happened and I turned 40 today. It came faster than I thought seems like I was just 18, I still dont feel it. It's more of a mind game , like holy shit I'm 40. I've got 3 racks of ribs on the smoker, 40 wings on the grill and my favorite family members to enjoy it all with. Have a great day and stay the fuck off my lawn.

I am just disappointed that it's a BMW and would not trust servicing it at Toyota, lol. Even though the 86 is a Subaru, I think fun for the money would be better for me.

I love my FRS. Wish I would have bought it earlier. For the price they’re almost like a disposable sports car.
Got mine for $17K with 11K on the odometer.
I’d buy another in a heartbeat.
Probably will if anything happens to this one.

I'd still prefer if Toyota built their own sports cars like they used to. My 84 Celica Supra

I didn't even think about how servicing the car would go. Wonder if Toyota would just take it to a BMW service dept. if something failed with the engine? I suppose that the techs have been taught how to work on it but I dunno? The Subaru engine isn't that difficult to service but with everything but the bodywork being BMW, that's a new one.

I agree the 86 is a fun car. I think he was a little unfair to the car in the review but to each their own. I loved both of mine. They were a lot of fun to drive. I just wish it had about 50 more HP. Anything more than that and I think it would upset the balance of the car.

    ^^ This ^^

Now that's what I'm talking about. I love that bodystyle.

I can't wait for this. I found out they play Red Rocks once a year and we just hit it perfectly. I'm so ready for the 8th to get here.

I found a picture of the Black Crowes concert. Pretty cool standing on stage with them.

Fuck Photobucket btw. I've got thousands of pictures on that site and they have gone to a full pay site. It takes for fucking ever to get to your pictures if you don't pay.

I'll need to drive it before I form an opinion. I loved that car from back in the day as you know. I am a little disappointed that there is so much BMW in it but at least its BMW and not Hyundai. They make great cars, so like I said, need to drive it before I form an opinion.

Oh I like the looks of the car a lot. I think it looks better than the Z4. I'm just not a convertible fan. I had one convertible and I swore that I'd never have another one.
Since the engine, suspension, and chassis is made by BMW you know it's going to handle well. I think my big hangup is the price. For $60+k there are a bunch of other cars that I would personally like more. I'm not caught up in the whole "it's a BMW and not a Toyota" group. Almost every car company shares technology with each other. The cost to create a car from scratch and hope that it sells is quite a gamble so I don't blame Toyota for the decision to partner with BMW. Like you said... at least it isn't a Hyundai (although Hyundai has come a very long way from where they started).

I use Imgur now and it's free (for now). I really like how it's set up. I looked last night and I've got almost 2000 photos on Photobucket. My problem with Photobucket is even after you pay the $5 a month you still get a fuck ton of adds and that pisses me off to no end. So I quit paying and started moving my photos on to my external HD and moving some of them to Imgur. But if you don't pay they slow down the site so much that it's damn near impossible to get your photos. I understand that they need to make money but I refuse to pay for something and still have pop up adds show up. Photobucket used to be the shit. Now it's just shit.

I wish I had. I have 20 different folders and one of them has 1.1k photos in it. It's just a bunch of random photos dating back to 2005. I found a bunch of photos of my old Tiller Truck that I had completely forgot about so I moved them to Imgur and my HD. A lot of them I don't really care about but some of them I don't have saved so I'm going through and downloading them so I don't lose them

A few pictures that I took from the drivers seat while driving the trailer.

Tiller Trucks don't like the ice and snow. We got stuck 4 times that day and made 37 runs. I never saw the station after the first run. 24hrs on the truck. Most runs I made in a single day.

I'm imagining the tiller truck fish tailing on ice & snow. Tail wagging the dog, or dog chasing the tail. LOL
eDit Crossover and departure angle suck on that truck.

We tried once to put traction cables on the rear tires but they would just peel off on the first turn. So yeah... basically you were just along for the ride. And yes. The approach and especially departure angles sucked on that truck. We ripped the back bumper diamond plate cover off so many times that we finally just left it off.
