There was a bad flare up of that saharan dust come up from the gulf a few weeks ago, first time I had heard of it. With polarized glasses on the sky looked "off" when the sun was coming through the clouds later in the day.

    Good morning :hattip:

Busy weekend. Got our new refrigerator installed. Sunday, momma wanted to see her boys. We picked up my oldest in LA and the youngest came down from Santa Barbara. We met and had Brunch in Oxnard. Its been about 5 weeks since we have seen them both. It was good to do a well check and proof of life. Busy week ahead cramming work into 2 days before taking off to Yosemite for 5 days. Looking forward to getting away for a breather.

Shit...I was trying to come up with a snarky comment, then I watched the trailer. You're not wrong, right in the fucking feels man. Doesnt hurt that I watched every episode as a kid either.

Yup, gonna have to watch that one.

If anyone could pull that off its Tom Hanks.

From everything I've seen on Fred Rogers, he was truly an amazing human being. I can think of no better person to play him than Tom Hanks.

Some dumbass decided to drape black cloth around a sawed off hockey stick, presumably to make it look like he was concealing a sawed off shotgun, then wore a black bandana over his face, and 'brandish' the 'weapon' at people while walking the main downtown street this afternoon. He made it 3 blocks to his waiting friends in the park who also dressed up with bandanas, when 10 cop cars show up, with the real deal pointed at all of them. Took all the idiots into custody, one remains in jail. He was really tempting fate there with Darwin.

Did I happen to tell you guys how I feel about the addicts and what we should do with them?.........Put these dumb asses in that same category, different camps, but same category.

I think I have revised that idea though. I think we should put everyone on an island instead of the desert. This will accomplish two things:
    1) They can't escape...I mean addicts arent exactly in the best swimming shape anyhow.
    2) If the addicts...and in this case the dumb asses do decide to make a go of life and reform their stupid fucking ways then they can learn a skill....fishing.
