I’m still waiting on the refresh of the 4Runner. But I’m still leaning heavily towards the Rubicon. Haven’t decided on an auto or manual yet.

I miss driving a stick but the only vehicles I’ve driven with a stick (besides a fire truck) are sports cars. I know that automatics have finally gotten to the point that they are faster (especially with a dual clutch) but I much prefer the engagement of feeling connected to the driving experience.

Well... today is my last day in my 40's. It seems like yesterday I was 20. I've got to say that my 40's weren't the best time of my life. Lot happened in these 10 years. There was a lot of good things that happened but it seemed that there were just more bad things than good. The first few years of my 40's weren't very good until I was able to gain my sobriety and then my wife's sickness for a few years. I'm just glad this thread was changed so I don't have to drop out of it :) I'll probably drop into the +50's thread tomorrow just to poke around but I've found a home here in this thread. You guys have always been great to me and I consider you all friends even though I've only actually met a couple of you in person. But I feel like I know all of you and that is something unique in this day and age of the internet.

My wife bought me this and this

Everything else will be geared toward remodeling things around the house for when we decide to sell it. I don't plan on buying anything else at the moment as I have everything I need or want. That said... if they come out with the new MacBook 16' Pro later this year I'll probably jump on that. It rumored to start out at $2900 but I'm sure I can option it out way beyond that ;)
But my next big purchase will either be a 4Runner or Jeep. But that's not for a couple years since all I need is basic transportation at the moment. I'm giving my daughter my wife's car so we'll be a one car family since we don't need two since I'm retired and she works from home.

Welcome back to the club. I have a local guy with a 2019 that will be stopping over in a couple weeks so I can work out the TSS sensor issue and produce a custom grill for the 2018 and 2019 models
Next time I drive across the country for a road trip I will make sure to swing by your way. I think when I do my next cross country trip I’m going to swing down south to Houston first before I head out to Utah, that would bring me through your neck of the woods. Unless of course you’ve moved to Colorado by then. ;)

I'm hoping to take the family to a nice restaurant in the city. The only issue is, I just don't know if I can sit that long. My daughter has never been to a very nice restaurant and I'd like her to experience what actual food prepared by an actual chef is like. We have some great restaurants in the city if I can just be comfortable for a few hours.

Then on the 5th I have to meet with the State AG and who the hell knows how long that will take? I might be sitting there for 2-3 hrs and that is going to be hell. But I can't miss it or put it off since who the hell knows when I'll get put back on the docket?
