After Life on Netflix is a pretty damn good show. It stars Ricky Gervais who I personally think is funny as fuck. But this is a different twist on humor in a dramatic roll.

This is why I brought up stand up comedy as the last true bastion of not having to be politically correct. Bill Burr, George Carlin, the list goes on. I love people that are able to walk that line and point out the hypocacry of everything in this world.

Non-stop action is better than a love story in the middle.

    Thank you Britt. :fistbump:

... so much fun driving MT again...feels like home.

And Rich is right, this engine has a slight lull while it spins up, but at 3000 rpms up it takes off like a rocket.

    Very happy I am. :)

EDIT: It occurs to me that the lull might be amplified further by the AT determining and getting into the right gear. Thus so much criticism of it? :notsure:

I’m still waiting on the refresh of the 4Runner. But I’m still leaning heavily towards the Rubicon. Haven’t decided on an auto or manual yet.

I miss driving a stick but the only vehicles I’ve driven with a stick (besides a fire truck) are sports cars. I know that automatics have finally gotten to the point that they are faster (especially with a dual clutch) but I much prefer the engagement of feeling connected to the driving experience.

Well... today is my last day in my 40's. It seems like yesterday I was 20. I've got to say that my 40's weren't the best time of my life. Lot happened in these 10 years. There was a lot of good things that happened but it seemed that there were just more bad things than good. The first few years of my 40's weren't very good until I was able to gain my sobriety and then my wife's sickness for a few years. I'm just glad this thread was changed so I don't have to drop out of it :) I'll probably drop into the +50's thread tomorrow just to poke around but I've found a home here in this thread. You guys have always been great to me and I consider you all friends even though I've only actually met a couple of you in person. But I feel like I know all of you and that is something unique in this day and age of the internet.

My wife bought me this and this

Everything else will be geared toward remodeling things around the house for when we decide to sell it. I don't plan on buying anything else at the moment as I have everything I need or want. That said... if they come out with the new MacBook 16' Pro later this year I'll probably jump on that. It rumored to start out at $2900 but I'm sure I can option it out way beyond that ;)
But my next big purchase will either be a 4Runner or Jeep. But that's not for a couple years since all I need is basic transportation at the moment. I'm giving my daughter my wife's car so we'll be a one car family since we don't need two since I'm retired and she works from home.
