    @Pchop

    Here is the keyboard that I got. This is the Mac version but they also make a Windows version. At the end you can hear what it sounds like (though mine is quieter since I get the MX Brown keys) and I don't think you would be happy with it. But it is the most tactile keyboard I've ever used so it works for me personally. Sry, meant to link it earlier but had a Drs. appointment this morning and went to see Once Upon a time in Hollywood.

    As far as Once upon a time in Hollywood... Don't waste your money. It fucking sucked. IIRC it was 2:41 mins long and they could have cut out about 2:30 mins of it. It is one of the most boring movies I've seen in a long time which is hard to believe since it is a Quentin Tarantino movie. My favorite movie of all time is Pulp Fiction and I've liked damn near every movie he has made because they are dialogue driven. Not this one though. It just fucking sucked until the end and then it was funny as shit. Sorely disappointed as I was expecting a lot out of this movie. It did not deliver at all.

    Will only cost you $169 to decide. If you don't like it you can always send it back. I know you don't like the clicks but the MX Brown keys aren't as loud as the MX Blue keys but they are noticeable no matter what. I don't know how loud the MX Blue keys are since I didn't buy that model.

    This is the Windows version. Having access to high speed USB ports on the back of the keyboard is nice for quick file transfers off of a USB stick or charging your phone.

    Not the money, I would rather be fast. It’s loud around a construction site anyhow.

    Like you, I found with the soft touch keyboards I was constantly missing a letter and having to backspace. Now I make very few mistakes (mostly misspells) because of the tactile feel of the keyboard. If I had one criticism it would be that it isn't backlit. Not an issue in your line of work but it would be nice to have where I work. Not a big deal since I know where all the shortcuts are but having a backlight would just be a nice addition. But the sheer feel of the keyboard is just perfect. Plus it is a professional keyboard with an aluminium construction. The ruler on the back is a gimmick (maybe not in your line of work) for me but it doubles as a stand that tilts the keyboard toward you. It's hard to go back to typing on the laptop after using this. I'm sold... but you may or may not like it.

    With my workflow I use the Magic Mouse 2 (I've got an Logitech MX Master and it's a sweet mouse) but I just like the Magic Mouse better. Then for Final Cut Pro I use the Magic Trackpad 2. So for LightRoom I use the mouse and Final Cut I use the Trackpad

    My iMac came with the Magic Mouse 2. I wish it was black. since the keyboard is black.

    The trackpad is black.

    Like I said, not the money and you haven't steered me wrong yet with tech shit.

    I am going to wait until I redo the guest room. After I rip out the carpet, put in new flooring, re-paint it and get a big L desk I'll prob revisit this.

    Maybe, or bring a tent or actually clean out the bed (the current dunnage is making it ride less like a truck)

    It’s only me on this trip, if wife and or kid were with me....

    Raleigh N.C.- Peoria IL and back by Sunday night.... currently 116miles from destination and it’s 3am....

    I keep my old swag in it for just these times, throw it in the bed if it’s free or under the truck. $100 plus for a place to pass out sucks.
