Sorry to read about this, @wdb . I hope you are able to find comfort with those whom you are closest with. No words can console the loss of someone so close.

    Keep your chin up.

I’m very sorry to hear you’re currently going through this. I lost my father when I was in my teen years. Like the other guys on here have said, spend as much time with him as you can. Try to tell him things you would like him to know and speak from the heart without holding back. That’s something I unfortunately did not have the chance to do. And if you’re able to, I really recommend doing so. Even though we don’t know each other, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your father.

Sorry man, that sucks. I honestly feel your pain, I'm going to be a sloppy mess when it's my dads time. I'm super close to him, we talk damn near every day. That will be the hard part.
    We're here for ya man.

BIG, damn, Red Wasp again. These SOBs wait to come out when I am stuck in a bad spot. Trying to get things organized so everything can be picked up for the next Hurricane on Friday. 2020 needs to go away.

The candle that burns brightest burns quickest.

Also, he destroyed most of his major organs through pickling. Only Keith Richards seems to have the right balance of clean and bad living.

Hello Everyone. I hope I'm not here too early. I am now 4,0 so I figured I can relate to many others in here more now than the damn kids in the main room.

Additionally, the dumpster fire started after David Bowey died. Just sayin'. EVH will be missed for sure.

Hummingbirds are a highly evolved species. We see as a small bird able to hover and maneuver very quickly are actually small fighters for aliens stranded here 100s of years ago. These amazing vehicles of flight have inspired modern aviation, but only through reverse engineering has the technology been obtainable. The tech is so small; it is how we can back 100s of GB of data into a device the size of a penny. But you ask if they're so advanced, how are they stuck here. Easy. The fuel these biomechanical masterpieces burn is extremely dense and volatile, but also very heavy. So minimal quantities can be carried at a time. The fuel they came here on was equally strong but lasted much longer, and refueling was not needed as often. This is why they refuel midflight. But as with all fighters, they can support or destroy. While extremely patient, these visitors fight to the death. DON'T PISS THEM OFF!
