Don't forget work, guns, and fishing.

    And what's wrong with that?

On a different note... I know a lot of you were talking about canceling your Netflix subscriptions. I retained mine, just didn’t watch the program that everyone was discussing. In any case, the reason I brought it up is that I just started a program on Netflix that I’m enjoying and thought I’d share in case you all want to give it a go.

I’ve always had this thing for war movies. Not sure why. I’m not a violent person and I feel that all the killing is extremely sad. Testosterone?

Nada... I enjoy my work, it gives me the opportunity to sit at a restaurant in Florida, overlooking the boats, drinking a margarita and eating sushi while all my fellow employees are stuck up in Vermont freezing their asses off. :D

Guns... I like guns, wish I could find some 300 blackout ammo so I'd feel a bit more motivated to finish a AR pistol build.

Fishing... I enjoy it when I plan on eating them. Catch and release is fun but the last bass I caught the hook almost went through its eye and I started feeling bad for them. But when I get a boat I definitely plan on fishing again.

The VA keeps sending me info about trial tests and volunteering. Umm, if any veteran still has the mindset of volunteering for things... they ain't right in their freaking noggin.

Its too bad because there were some other shows I was interested in watching but they are not at all important to me while I'd be funding a POS company that thinks its okay to dress little girls up like adult women, prostitutes practically. "Oh, its about the mother that is trying to get her young daughter to stop dressing like a 20 year old whore."

I have some crap I picked up from an FDA approved med I'm pretty sure my mother was on when she was pregnant with me. Either from her or who knows what else. They inject so much crap into our food it's no surprise that so many people today are sick from one thing or another. I'm a skeptic about anything, especially when there is big $$$ being made and when politicians and people like Bill Gates start chiming in.

As soon as we can get our hands on it I'm going to take it. I can get one through the FD when it is released. I'll not lie and say that I'm not slightly apprehensive about taking a vaccine that has been produced so fast. But looking at the scientific data, I'll be first in line to take it as soon as I can. My hope is there will be a large part of the population that will take it though I understand being a little bit leery about taking something that has been developed in the shortest period of time of any vaccine in history. But the results are better than we could have ever imagined. If we get enough people to buy in, then and only then will herd immunity work. Here's to hoping.

I got to say, we still have Netflix. We just don't watch the garbage. To me it's better than going to the movies and my wife likes the old school shows from when we were younger. I have found a lot of good movies just b/c there was not anything I wanted to watch on regular cable.

Yeah I’m out on that one dawg. We were asked the other day at work about who wanted it. Believe we have 3-4 that said yes. Rushed vaccine and a type Vaccine that has never been given before? Yeah, I’ll pass.

They aren’t testing on you. The project is a de-identified data dive over the largest patient database in the world. 30 gig of data (decoded genomic sequence) per veteran, times one million.

The server power behind this is insane.

The point is to do trend analysis and care comparison to prove things like Gulf War Syndrome and burn pit issues, track things that might not be evident, and use that data to make long-term care planning adjustments.

Also, there’s suspicions that some of our exposures, combined with some genetic factors, make certain cancers and diabetes statistically problematic.

I'll take my chances. I'll trust the scientist. Once you know how it was developed and tested I don't have much of a cause for concern about it. Every medication we take has a risk of side effects but yet we still take them each and every day.

Well, they took enough blood from me today but they didn't inject anything. I swear they must have had 10 vials and a pee cup in a pear tree.
