411,998 Miles NO Breakdowns! But...

Thanks for the well wishes! I'll try to answer the questions in no particular order.

I used Advanced Durability Valvoline oil(not synthetic) and tried to change the oil within a few days of the light coming on. Usually less than 1000 miles past the light. I never stressed on it because I changed it about every 6 weeks give or take.

I racked up the miles as a courier.

Repair list. All just maintenance stuff:
Mounts trans and motor.
Fan clutch.
Lower control arm bushings. $$
Wheel bearing. Thanks to the Jersey Hub guy on this forum.
Universal Joints.
Serpentine belt.
Spark plugs only 3 times.
Air filter every 4 months.
Batteries only last 2 years in AZ.
Brakes, replaced both calipers once. I just did the rear brakes once after 380k.
Heater & A/C fan started to squeek replaced it once.
Transmission flush was just done at 405k.
The rear differential was starting to make some noise and I was shopping for a used one to replace it. That was going to be expensive.
Coolant flush twice.

What I never had to do was impressive.
No alternator replacements.
No starter replacements.
No engine replacements.
No transmission replacements.
No water pump replacements.
No a/c compressor replacements.

It even had the original radiator hoses!

Now for the part that y'all won't like...
I replaced it with a Ford Transit 150 Mid Roof.
It's a full size van and it was needed for my work.

 

Only once and it was after 405k.

 

My new wheels.

 

Safe to assume this is an auto transmission?

 

Sucks it happened, but you survived. You can always get a new truck.

Wow, glad you are safe. Maybe the transmission fluid is lifetime? I'm stressing about changing it before I hit 50k and you waited till 405k.
