    What's up guys i recently got a 2nd gen 2013 and the engine is toast. Im looking for a replacement but there's just so many variations need help figuring out the correct years I can get an engine from

    You’ll need an engine from a 2012-2015 Tacoma because it has the secondary air injection system (SAIS).

    You could also buy a new short block for $3k from Toyota and have your heads rebuilt from a machine shop.
