when my speedo was working is was getting about 220-260 to a tank and that was willing up 14-15 gallons it was roughly 16mpg if i remember correct. I was setup with 3.58 gear, 5spd, manual hubs and 31s. Now that ive got 4.56s and 33s my ultra gauge is showing me im getting around 15 city and 19 highway.

I'm averaging about 15mpg over the last 571 miles with 33s and factory (I'm presuming) 4.10 gears. I'm thinking I could do better with a better set of spark plugs. Mileage can go down if you don't have good plugs in it...or if your plugs are shot.

I would be running rough if it was vac. Clean your MAF, plugs, wires, air filter, and you could do the o2 sensors if you have some extra cash laying around. Also how many miles on your truck and how heavy on the gas are you

Is it running rough? Also, what does the exhaust smell like? Does it have a strong smell of any kind?

K, then if it's not running rough, then it's probably a sensor issue, either MAF or O2 causing it to make the fuel mixture a bit rich. I'd recommend taking it somewhere and having it put on the computer to see what's going on.

Edit: you don't have to let them fix it, but they'll probably charge you for diagnosing it if you don't.

Just clean the MAF before you take it anywhere. All it is, is two screws spray it down with electrical cleaner or MAF cleaner and put it back on

turbo would be cool as well. its a good motor just needs a little extra power.
