New door speakers and an all in 1 10in. Sub, bed cover, bed stiffeners, new grill, tailgate inlays, Mat black emblems overlays, new led map and dome lights, plenty more in the plans.
This might be blasphemy but have any of you guys looked into what it would cost to do a motor swap for a 4bt Cummins diesel???

That engine is heavy as f. It's about 2x the weight of the 2gr. There is someone with an older toyota who did a vw tdi swap.

Diesel Toys offers a 1KD swap, costs about 25k for parts and labor... lol.

Edit: just checked it’s like 33k

I think the 1.9L is more than enough despite being smaller. Here is one in a JK. He makes some good arguments on why it's a good motor for his JK including weight for off roading. I think most of what he says would also apply to a tacoma.

I read a story about a guy who attempted it in a second gen years ago. The engine was too heavy for the tacoma and caused some issues. Even with upgraded springs and stuff, it wasn't a good idea and he regretted it

Thanks man like I mentioned above it’s just a pipe dream at the moment. I just got my 2018 Trd sport at the beginning of the year so this would be years down the line lol
