Its all good. As I keep saying, it's my preference. You like the 4 - dats cool. No need to bust a vessel, we all have our own opinions. Mine just happens to be right - in my world that is. :spy:

yup, me too. Read somewhere that 4 and 6 cyl diesels will be out soon and will be fairly easy to find. I'm betting Toyota will be one of the first. 'Course I never win the lottery either. ;)

Will you speak louder? I can't hearrrrrrr youuuuuu.

I got a friend who works for Toyota scan tool and testing department and I remember him saying something about this also.

I think by now there is enough answers to go either way. I promised myself longtime ago, since gas was 1.75/gal never to go 4cyl again and haven't since, but that is mainly because I can only afford one car at any given time.

Could I have save money with my 20K+ mileage/year city driving? OF COURSE. But that is not the reason why I bought my Taco.

I owned a 2003 Tacoma with the 2.7 -4cyl. It was a great truck but I always regretted not getting the 6cyl. The 4cyl was always a little sluggish on hills especially when loaded. I loved that truck and hated to trade it, but I recently got a 2009 -6cyl. I could not be happier. The important thing is to get the one you want most. The gas mileage is not that different between the 2.

Yeah, I have a crystal ball, just a different one from yours apparently. I say that this price reduction is based 100% on recessionary pressures and that when those abate the price of gas will climb again. You apparently think it won't. I guess there's only one way to find out.....live long, stick around, and see.
