    Hey guys

I know 2.7 oil dipstick level has been beat to death , I just did the oil on my 2015 using Mobile Ow-20 full synthetic .

I also used the YZZD3 filter has a little extra filtration and capacity .

I did 6 Qts including filling the filter , that little sucker sucked up about 1/2 qt .

The oil is so clean even after driving it for a couple days but looks to read high on the dip stick .

Can’t barely read the oil on the stick after a week its still clear and clean ,

I would think with the extra filter capacity and filtration .

Any other guys running the YZZD3 ?

I had case of these from my other trucks and have run them on other 4cyls in the past with no problem , figure go 10k on the oil and filter .

When I had a 4.0 Tacoma I would go 10k or 1 yr on the oil but change the filter at 5K and just top off , oil was always super clean I even sent a sample to Blackstone oil testing company I use for my diesel trucks but they test any oil .

Came out perfectly normal for any ware all normal .

Any one running this combination and is 6 qts and the bigger filter ?

I run the YZZD3. I just dump in 5-1/2 qts and call it good. I don’t really check the level. I still change the oil every 5k. When I’m approaching 5k, it just seems like my truck is struggling. So I change the oil and it feels new again. Maybe it’s just in my head.

Yes about 5.5 quarts and the YZZD3. Lately my flavor has been Castrol High Milage 0w20

I don’t mind going 10k using synthetic but rarely get near that number having a couple vehicles and riding the bike in the summer months helps keep the miles down .

just suck out the PS reservoir and replace the PS fluid a guaranteed 5hp on the butt dyno mod;) anything to help get a little more power out of the 2.7l engine

I seriously can not tell if this is legit. My mind is telling me there's no way this does anything, but my heart is telling me I want this to work so bad.

He's pulling your leg... Just like changing the oil at 5K isn't going to make the truck run any different except in your mind.

It is common on older Fords to replace the power steering fluid with a high quality synthetic ATF, but that was more to help quiet the noisy pump design than for any performance reasons.

51A49435-EC58-4E59-B9B5-6EFE29A60C2C.jpg This new to me 2015 only had 16k on it , my previous Tacoma was a 2017 4cyl 4x4 manual wast a great truck before it got totaled , only problem I had with that truck you could be sitting stopped in neutral and all of a sudden the speedometer would go up to 100 mph and I was not moving .

Funny thing was back to the dealer 3 times and they could never figure it out or reduplicate .

I have always like the 2nd gens , I had a couple TRD off-road 4.0 trucks , still wish I had my 2013 but traded that on a tundra like a dumb ass .

I have worked my way up to a 2019 200 series Land Cruiser , The Tacoma is the daily driver .

This one is nothing special just a access 4x4 , dog-a-matic , I just coated pot-15 and top coat chassis looks like a million bucks top and bottom.
Did all the rears , transfer case only because it was 5 yrs old fluid , I do the transmission at 30k . All gear oils looked brand new clean was crazy .
I just did a GMC with 5k on it and fluids were black gear oils ... Go Japanese

Isnt the 4cylinder supposed to take 6qts when you change the filter too? So in theory a change with a ydzz3 filter should take a pinch over 6qts

I did 5.75 with the YZZD3 I think perfect with the extra filtration most seem to 5.5 qts gave the little extra for the longer filter .

Yes as per the specifications. With filter = 6.1 quarts for the 2.7 2TR-FE 4 cylinder engine.
