Did some dump,e die side plates as well as boxxer in the last part of the bed floor with angle iron and tubes to make a place to throw stuff and have it stay put...welded channel to floor and framed it in.

    03 dblecb 4x4
judging by your photos you Love the build process and are good at it.
But how long do you keep the truck for until the next project.
My point... when you want to sell it let me know.
Very nice work turns into a very nice truck, well done

    Wheeled today.
Broke the motor mount out the rest of the way on a vertical rock ledge in picture....used a ratchet strap stuck the part back in and strapped it down and wheeled the rest of the day....

Flopped going down a notch forward and driver side no damage...just cranked wheels and powered forward gettingmitmright side up again....

Dented rear driver side door and all down bed, creased in passenger side doors and rear of cab...

Truck performed flawless on some nasty stuff....was a good run...ran lines and walls no one followed and when they did they couldn't make it or had to be winched...

So tomorrow buy motor mounts and chains for the mounts then call a paint less dent guy to pull the dents and damage...no real bad creasing so should pull decent....lol

The ratchet strap motor mount looks all too familiar... Haha. When I get home I'll post my fix for it without having to solid mount. Super cheap and super easy

Yeah please do....I'm fixing mine today...i bought a frame side set from a guy on here 3/16 Steele and perfect design then do the Toyota motor side with a chain strap welded between the 2...that way it floats on rubber bit can't reach the tearing point...buddy did his with dual cases this way...was destroying his regularly but after putting a semi loose chain strap no issues and no vibration...

Welded 3 links of chain to act as a limiting strap. Pretty much exactly what you were saying. Still get the comfort of the rubber but the chain wont let it reach the tearing point. I only did this to the driver's side and have beat on my truck pretty hard with no issues.

Indeed it is, I'm a marlin and inchworm nut swinger lol!

I do own their sliders though and like them, you cant build them yourself for cheaper than what they sell them for if you factor in your time.

I built this as a more dual purpose rig with crawling the primary function and hauling ass in the desert (for what it is) ....it broke the tabs at tds doing hard fast runs and then crawling....then ripped out on the first pic up top on that rock face....

Welded up some frame side motor mounts that come precut by a guy and added rock solid motor mounts to Toyota today...so no more broken mount...I'll do passenger side tomorrow and my tranny mounts are smoked...so time to solid Mount them....the vibration isn't bad the 6cyl seems to rev pretty smooth but there is definite vibration as well as the response is quicker feeling no real motor shake on square edge hits....

Never mind the underside weld I have no idea what in the hell I was doing while I welded it...lol I'll clean that one up when I cut the lower frame side tab.
