Besides nice build, all i have to add is that i hate you guys out west who don't even have to paint your tube! My metal parts rust more than that sitting in the box in my damn garage!!

That's an interesting rear axle you picked up!!

Decided to swap axle shafts and different fluid as well as check stuff underneath for its first hoist since install.

BTW those welds arent mine....the front leaf ha ger and brace was done already i build everything else...so the welds letting loose from crack migration wasnt mine....i burned them in heavy now and cleared his welds with a wire wheel and rewelded...

Went to shop to pull some hydro lines back before wheeling yesterday....ended up finding both frame ends cracked up front inner and outer...so welded some 1/4" plates side and bottom along with triangle gusset for a quick fix to go wheel.

Starting to think linking is in near future....I'll tie the shock hoops into bumper and tie out all in for strength sometime soon.

Lol...no. the part and the crush zone was not in the right direction for a yank,.. I built this and went over it...this was from wheeling guaranteed...

I'm familiar with NDT its what I did and got my degree in....that and CWI...I find the reason stuff fails whether its internal and we use sound waves to find flaws or asses loads cyclic, column or other and why stuff broke...

Aside of that I did my steering and welded up the front etc....there were NO cracks up there. Lol this was from use....

Yanking on stuff causes the lower to pull outward, this had a huge crease where it buckled and folded downward. I had to grind off the crease in the frame to plate it and still bend the 1/4" upwards to mate to the frame a little....this was from whoops and jumping...I will box the whole thing into the bumper and engine cage now....I have seen this on our prerunners from hauling ass....the race truck not so much as the whole frame was boxxed and plated as well as it didn't share the stress riser where the frame necks down on a-arms of the truck...plus our trucks are fully caged from engine to frame and bumper with crush zones...

It unbolts. Made it with 5 countersunk 1/4 20 tapered Allen head screws...so it can slide on rocks and still be removed easily.

The bottom has 3 top will have 2...im making the replacement skid for it today now that it's all ironed out....

This truck is the model for mine that i'm about to do here in the next few months. Mine will likely be like yours started with the trail gear kits on 37s without a bobbed bed. Bud damn this thing is nice.
