4G hate especially for the PRO why?

I'm in an economic depression, I have lost my will to spend money on things I do not need. The majority of my spending was on things that I didn't need. It's not fun anymore. I'm not wearing a barel, or eating old shoes for dinner that's a plus.

I did see two Ranger Raptors today or the same one twice.

 

This is a really good place with some fantastic people. Try to venture out into some of the other sub-forums here and you will find many of the people you call douchebags will go out of their way to help you.

 

What shade of gray was it? I wish Ford offered better options like Toyota.

 

There was a little negativity in 2016 when the Tacoma went from a 4.0 V6 to the 3.5 V6. You will find lots of varying opinions but also lots of knowledge on TacomaWorld. I try to read everything and come up with my own opinions. If threads become too heated in the discussion I just find cooler threads to visit.

And for good reason. The 4.0 V6 was a boss engine. The 3.5 sucks. I've had both for decades.

 

I prefer to 4.0 and transmission in my ‘06 PreRunner, but like the styling and creature comforts of my ‘22 Pro. I have not warmed up to the styling of the new 4th gen, but don’t hate on them or think that. Body should buy one.

 

Carbonized or Azure. The truck kind of looked blue. Funny thing was the driver sat there waiting to make a right on red and then ran the red in front of the opposing left turn lane after they got the green, shit happens.

I wouldn't mind seeing Meteor shower make it's way to the Tacoma. That's not a shade of gray so it would probably replace the current silver. I don't think that's going to happen.

 

I mean....most of us really dont care what you (or anyone else) drives but I'd kinda like to point out that you say people bash the 4G and they dont even own one...well, you kinda bashed the Raptor and, I'm gonna roll the dice here, and I'm betting that you dont own one.

Is Terra still available on the Pro for 2025? I was under the impression that it is now only available on the TRD OR and Sport and is no longer available on the Pro. Oh well I do like the Terra better than the Mudbath for now but I would not mind if what came in is the Mudbath for me

Hah! I must be douchebag supreme! Went from Tacoma to Ranger Ranger. And wanting to trade my 911 for an NSX.

But after 10 pages of this thread, there's essentially zero worthwhile answer to why people hate the 4G.

 

There are plenty of “real” answers why people didn’t but each time you get a real answer of that purchase decision people come back with their go to “you just don’t have the money to buy one”.

Is there that much hate for the 4G or the Pro? Like most people who cry about hate the loudest, it's imaginary all in their head.

or, i wonder if they had one/a few terra pros delayed mid-build from 2024 and just slapped the 2025 model year on them? there were no other changes, so it wouldn't matter. you could end up with a true unicorn.

 

On the bright side, if it is a 2024, you'll get the HUD that isn't in the 2025s. And of course, the color you want.
