What I've learned from stalking this forum is you can't say anything positive about a 3G even if you have both. I especially enjoy the negative 3G posts from those who've never owned a 3G. I'm sure posting this makes me a 3G troll too.

Nothing more miserable than a pity party. No one misunderstands you more than the people here. Sad trombone.

    Troll !!!

Just kidding. I had two 3rd gens. The 2017 drivetrain wasn’t fun. The 2021 was good. Should never have sold it.

One thing I didn’t like about the seats is the lumbar support. It was digging into my back when I went to test drive one . I didn’t find the seats to be to big it was comfortable sitting just not for my lower back .

I think the front seats on my 4th Gen TRD OR are significantly better than the ones on my 3rd Gen TRD OR. I especially like the cooling feature. Long trips are a lot more comfortable. Luckily though I don’t need the backseats for kids.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
OP has obviously never owned a 1st Gen because those are some of the worst seats. Crappy seats are one of the only complaints I ever had of my 1st Gen.

The lumbar support on my Taco is adjustable and I like it a lot. Mine has power seats and the support will move up and down and in and out. I wonder if the truck you drove had it set wrong for you.
