    I'd probably change the transfer case and front diff oil. Take a look at the fluid that comes out, or just stick your finger in the fill hole and see what it looks like. IF you suffered any excessive wear, those would be the two areas that would likely show it.
    If your axle shafts/cv joints lost some life, at least they're easy to replace.

    The front and rear axle are locked together so even with open diffs you’ll get some tire scrub going around corners. But the hardened steel gear sets, chains, and ujoints are way stronger than the traction a tire has on pavement.

    makes sense. I also have a montero that also have a 4H with clutches and a 4H locked.
