It doesn't. Just posting a link, that's all. I have to learn not to make waves since there is only one side on this issue and I'm not on it.

Amazon sells all sorts of rodent repellants for cars and trucks. I'd avoid the electronic ones, but some of the others are pretty easy to use. I have some rodent repellent I used around the house. It's out in the shed and I'm too lazy to get it right now. That could be put behind the kick panels and even under the carpets to keep rodents out of the cab.

Yeah, but just make sure NOT to feed them. If you do, they'll get lazy and try to become house cats.

Every time I see someone complain about mice eating their Tacoma's wiring it reminds me of seeing all the Fords showing up at the dealership I used to work at with mice chewing up the wiring and even foam air cleaners. I watched every car come in with damage going back out with a new wiring harness. Mechanics told me they didn't want to waste the time looking at every wire so they'd just replace the complete harness and stick the customer with $3000 plus dollar repairs. My service manager told me the auto manufacturer's are using soy based wiring which the mice love. I've had someone on this website say my supervisor doesn't know what he is talking about. Ill stick with what I saw and what I was told.

More than one manufacturer used or still uses soy based insulation. Honda and Kia are two.

Our dogs killed our one barn cat. Next winter was rodent apocalypse. Mice and pack rats ate through wiring in two tractors and three vehicles.
