    Hey all,
    Quick question...
When my 06 TRD Sport is in 4lo, it beeps, constantly. WTF?! Is that supposed to happen?

It's not in 4lo if it's beeping. You have to be at a COMPLETE stop and you can only get into 4lo from 4 hi. So go in 4hi, until you're engaged, then stop COMPLETELY, then go to 4lo and you should be good to go.

Make sure the clutch is all the way in if it's manual as well, otherwise it won't go into 4lo. As mentioned above, if it is beeping, it didn't work. You need to switch back to 4hi and try again.

haha yeah, the first time i went to put it in 4 lo it just kept beeping and beeping and i couldn't figure out WHY it wasn't going-then i realized the clutch wasn't ALL the way down-like to the floor, as far as it will go.
sucked because i was teetering on three wheels on a steep incline, not moving.....

Mine is automatic, but I was just going straight to 4lo, not 4hi to 4lo.
Unfortunately, I can't check it out for another couple of months..
    Thanks again.

you need to put it into N, then turn to 4LO, it will stop beeping and work
