any idea how i can deal with the copy right of songs?

Pay for the rights to use the song. The cheaper option is to remove the song from the video.

 

I tried to contact the copy right holder. No response.. I will edit the video to make it shorter and add on stuff from my latest trips. Will use acceptable music this time. I'll post the new video when it's done.

In the mean time...This YWM actually works. Trust me!

Just did the yellow wire mod on my 2015. Everything was as stated in this thread. Works like it should and took only minutes.

Anyone know where to get an ATRAC switch and the relay to stop the blinking. I want to be able too switch into 4lo with open diffs. Then press the button for trac. Sort of how ATRAC works on the off roads.

 

I just did the mod and now my truck won't go in 4lo. Anybody have any references or ideas as to what's going on

Either you cut the wrong wire or you're truck is in 4low and you don't know it. If you cut the proper wire..The 4low light will flash as if it's not in 4low. But you should be able to hear the transfer case engage.

There are plenty of trouble shooting posts in this thread. Everything has been answered over and over again.

This mod works. And it has helped me immensely while off-roading.

 

The 4lo light comes on and blinks and beeps. The beeping never stops. I cut the second yellow wire with black tracer. I never hear or feel the t-case drop in. I'm gonna mess around with it tomorrow. I'll figure it out

 

It shouldn't beep. Take a picture of the plug with the wire you cut..

 

I'll take one tomorrow afternoon and post it.

 

I finally got around to doing this. Pulled the pin and taped it up on a 2014 TRD Sport. It is top right white plug as shown in previous pics. There are 3 yellow wires in line going down from top corner. Remove the middle one as been stated. Obviously I need to test off road but everything works as before and the 4x light blinks when engaged.

 

Engage 4hi and move forward. Stop, neutral, and engage 4low. Put into drive and see if that helps. Mine does not like to engage 4low without being in 4hi first.

 

I'll give it a shot. I tried the 4hi then 4lo. Didn't put the motion into it tho.

 

I just tried it with success after a few fails... I ended up having to disconnect the battery and unplug the connection. Then plug the connection back it then reconnect the battery. I did the exact same thing as I did when I initially did the mod. Idk what was different but it eventually dropped into 4lo after hitting 4hi. I appreciate the help @Ridgeline001.

 

Can someone explain what this does in layman's term read threads till confused have 2015 DCLB trd sport

 

Before mod: When you put your truck in 4low the computer turns off traction control automatically and you can't switch it on while in 4low.

After mod: when you put your truck in 4low, the computer doesn't know it's in 4low. You are free to toggle traction controll on/off while in 4low.

It gives you traction control while in 4low, which is useful.
