I'm interested in swapping the 3rd gen 4Runner dash into my 01 Tacoma.
Has anyone ever done this? Is parts compatibility sufficient to make this possible?
Specifically I like the cheesy wood dash and the way the center of the dash flows into the shifter/center console bezel.

a few have done it. keep searching posts. I think the main reinforcement bracket needs to be switched as well (metal bar behind dash that holds it together and in place) but not 100% sure. otherwise you will need all the dash parts down to in front of the cup holders

Thanks! I searched a bunch but couldn’t find anything. I’ll try some more. I know I’d have to get all new dash pieces, it doesn’t look like any of them line up.
I don’t have a problem doing some slight modification to the plastic stuff if I have to
