Had this combo installed about three months ago. I have had vibrations ever since. Two tires have been replaced but the dealer and local tire place is saying there should be no reason for the vibrations. It comes and goes and I am just now starting to get a vibration when braking as well but it is not consistent either. I have had them balanced 4-5 times and every time I am being told they are balanced. Any ideas?

The balancer used might also be an issue:

    From this thread

Might be worth further investigation. I'm 99% sure the TRD wheels are hub and not lug-centric, but I've heard good things about those adapters. Can you swap your OEM wheels on to verify it's definitely in your wheel/tire setup? I was having a low speed grind/growl that I was convinced was suspension related to my lift and my winter tire set which was non-aggressive pointed at the tires. Maybe you'll have the reverse situation?

Lots of KO2's have balance issues, regardless of what people seem to think. I just balanced a set of ko2's with 10k on them, balanced perfectly, minor vibe at highway speeds.

Best thing you can do is keep up on diagonal rotations and just deal with the aggressive cut to the tread.

I've asked that my shop stop selling them as a combo unless requested specifically by the customer... to no avail. They simply aren't daily driver friendly.

Thanks Guys, I had three different shops do the balancing and one was a Hunter Road Force. I know the Ko2's have balancing issues to begin with. It is a shame because my Ko's I had on my FJ (previous to Tacoma) were awesome.

The wheels I believe are hubcentric, so no spacer would be needed. Am I correct?
