i have a 2017 Tacoma and I’m adding stock 17inch 4 runner wheels on to the truck. My truck is a base model sr with 16 inch steel wheels. I have the tires and lug nuts. But what do I do for tpms sensors? Do I get Tacoma alloy tpms or the 4Runner tpms? Or are they all the same?4191440F-9A50-4E0D-B2B2-F15533B06958.jpg

@06trdtaco I knew I would need new tpms but I’m trying to figure out which ones will work with the wheel and truck. Or is toyota tpms the same across all alloy wheels.

Yes, I realized I didn't actually answer your question with my post, that's why I deleted it ;).

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
I understand you can use the sensors from your steel wheels but they must be turned 180 on install to wheel. That way no reprogramming needed. Or go the PVC TPMS bomb route.

I bought the short ones to try to confirm they’ll work. Then I got the longer ones for the rest of them cause I will trade the short ones out for a wheel lock at some point.
