    Hello Community,

I currently have two sets of wheels, one is the ProComp 69 Series while the other are the five star 4runner wheels. The ProComps have a negative offset which pushes the tire just a little outside the fender, the 4runner wheels don’t.

I haven’t had problems with the ProComps other than minor rubbing on turns and the slight debris it throws during wet season. Also, I recently ran into AdventureTaco’s blog and was inspired to paint the 4runner wheels and go with those.

As for looks, both look good but feels like every other jeep and full size is also running similar ProComp series wheels which is a personal annoyance. Oh, and this set seems a little more “aggressive” due to the offset.

In any case, just thought what this community’s experience is with both and what are some advantages and/or disadvantages that I may not be aware of. As usual, thanks if advance to those who take time to contribute.

(Photos are not mine. They were obtained from a quick google search.)

Well those 5 stars are similar to some stock jeep wheels too so it's kinda lose lose if that bothers you.

    Tasteful modifications :)
Fan of the pro comps. Have always liked the steel wheels that they put out.
