    Plasma cutter.
    hmmmm....

can I use my ARB twin/3 gallon tank with my plasma cutter? Maybe that’s the route to take.

No lol the cutting is the worst part of any relocate. What comes after (usually welding) is the easy/fun/quick part.

Probably not, plus you’d need 240v power to run it. Or so I assume, mine on 120v is so damn slow. On 240v it’s a beast.

Cut off the mounts before you come and just drive down sans shocks. That would save some time and be an exciting drive lol

blown wheel bearing on @Blais03 truck was done in a wet campground in VT. Still a much easier task than a relocate

So far my most involved trail fix has been removing a third member, removing the ring gear, and putting it back together to limp home in front wheel drive. Not on my truck at least, thank god.

OOF! that does not sound enjoyable at all. At least you knew what to do.

I remember @mach1man001 broke that little hard line going to the brake caliper, from the soft line. Someone at Rausch had a spare line and a flare tool. The install wasnt hard, but having the flare tool was crazy to have while wheeling.

Turned out to be an $8 part from the dealership, and now a few of the NE guys have spares.

Cutting the mounts off can eat an entire bag of dicks. But unless you want the frame clean for TheGrams you can leave a fair amount of OE steel with the bolt on relocate.

I kinda want to try this in camp with these tools just for TheGrams and to say we did it.

But driving down without shocks and doing it at home with a plasma is probably easier.

Yeah that’s a very obscure tool to have on hand.

This is just me, but I would want the frame nice and clean. Looks like a more complete, whole-ass job.

Only 2ish hours. We had 3 Mechanically competent people there who were all working at once, so it was pretty painless. And we were prepared with all the tools/spare fluids.
