This is a completely personal choice, and I'm not going to suggest that anyone take any risks they are uncomfortable with, nor am I going to suggest that anyone take precautions they feel are excessive.

We're all adults, and this hobby is dangerous enough on its own that I feel confident everyone will manage thier risk profile in accordance with thier own standards of reasonableness.

It's kinda complicated at the moment, so wtf is about right.

I say may have because I was trying to fix things, and never got a real response out of her so it's probably over and done.

I'm really tempted but it's almost 4 hours away, plus a motel room. Would it be really worth it to only wheel 1 day?

I'm in the same boat, where are you coming from. Find someone to share a site with, the wheeling and company was definitely worth it last year. It was my first time out and really meeting most of them. Wouldn't miss it now.

Sure it is. I mean, not driving back and forth same day would be better, but even 1 day is good (maybe except Sunday, bunch of folks are flaking out on Sunday)

Thanks everyone! I would most likely be going with my girlfriend and neither of us really know anything about camping, and the motel doesn't really bother me. It's the 8 hours sitting on the highway lol. 8 hours wheeling I have no problem with, but the monotony of a straight like just kills me. I suppose Driving up friday night, spending the night, and going home Saturday night is not insane

Honestly if you want to camp I can loan you a tent. You'd have to provide sleeping bags though, it'll probably be chilly.

I very much appreciate it, thank you! We do actually have a tent (We've been meaning to get into camping) but I guess it really comes down to the fact that I am a wuss and like a bed lol.

One of the things I love about this site is how kind everyone is
