Not sure yet on how I'm going to play out making it up there and leaving.

We've got a shut down that week and I'll be on night shift. If I can get off Thursday and Friday, what I'm thinking is,

    Option #1
Leaving as soon as I get off work Thursday morning about 7/8 am and making it there probably around noonish and unloading, setting up, and going from there.

If I'm up for it I may crack open some beers and hammer down on a trail but it would be an early night for me more than likely.

    Option #2
Taking a nap that morning and leaving about noonish and getting there about 2/3, unload, setup, and be ready to roll.

    Option #3
I don't get off Thursday night, work it, leave as soon as I get off Friday morning and tough it out.

I've been thinking, I've still got a lot to do to the runner.

New front brakes, fix some make shift wiring for the fan I did last trip, grease everything and check all the fluids (just gotta run it, park it, if it leaves a puddle...it's good on that lol)

Looks like I'm going to have to miss this year. We have a pregnancy doctor appt on the Friday and I need to replace my center support bearing and figure out why my diff lock isn't working. Those are at the bottom of my list unfortunately, I'll have to catch you guys next year and I guess I won't be the 2nd most attended driver anymore lol. Have fun guys

I'll make sure some pics are taken. Possibly some video to.

Most likely I'll have my GoPro and do some that way.

@MedlinAround is the man as far a pics and video collages go. He did a killer job a few years back when the Tennessee gang went. I'll try and find it on YouTube if anyone's interested.

The closer we get, the more I feel like the weather forecast can be trusted. Here's latest updated.....

AccuWeather forecast says thursday night will be 35, then 45 average thru Sunday night.

Daytime high temps 68 to 70 thursday through Sunday.

Sunny to partly cloudy all days until Sunday which will be cloudy.

Low wind but enough to keep fog to a minimum.

No rain predicted. Dry 3 days prior thru 3 days after we're there.

Still saying best days are friday and saturday.

Peak fall color should be 25th/28th. (Thur/Sun)

    In a nutshell.....PERFECT!

Price of admission is a couple arm loads of fire wood. If everyone brings a little we'll have enough for a decent bonfire. Down there earlier this year and it was slim pickin's. I'll have a chain saw but would rather not spend the day scrounging for wood.

D-14 and counting. 14 days from right now there will be a tent set up and food on the grill.

    Truck is ready.

Will start staging gear next week.

Got a couple wild woods adventures in Indiana over this coming weekend.

    One involves owls.

    Other involves a log cabin.

You want me to bring a cv for you? I got one. Brand new. Even got a lifetime warranty on it. I've got a couple OEM's to. If you need one, you're more than welcome to it.
