I'm still trying to scramble around and find a spare before next week.

 

You mean you off-road in the south and manage to not get muddy? I anticipate mud down here like I would snow in Michigan or sand in Nevada. It's kinda part of the deal. The first trip of this annual event it was very cold and for 4 days straight there was either snow, sleet or rain falling from the sky and it was muddy as shit everywhere! Still easily the funnest overall off-road trip I've been on. Every year since then this trip has disappointed me. Haha last year was pretty good though. 14" of snow made that happen.

The fact alone that this meet is in March should prepare people for likely cold and wet conditions. Every year people back out for those reasons. I look forward to that once a year trip. I don't take a vacation in March to a hotel on a warm sunny beach (although that sounds nice), I take it to the muddy woods to camp and off-road in shitty weather conditions and love every second of it.

 

I'll get super muddy just driving into my back yard to load up some firewood for this trip. Should be able to skirt the creek. It's not a full drunken fab style moat yet.

 

I'd rather the park be open.... i hope it will be..... i'm wheelin somewhere regardless.

 

We'll always have the forest roads like the past two years.
