    This meet is NEVER shot down. Dedicated son!! The past 2 years, Turkey Bay has been closed due to weather and instead we have rode the 170k acres worth of trails throughout LBL. Turns into more of an adventure/ overland style trip then a "get out an watch this obstacle" style trip. Check out last year's pics thread on the main post and that can give you an idea of what it entails. Def an awesome time.

    So let's see ....... escape everyday society, camp in fantastic camping weather, drink beer and eat steak by a bonfire, live like a cave man for a few days, wheel your truck you are DYING to wheel, make babies under the stars or fight off those that want to ...... or ....... stay at home .......

    Easy choice for me
    You better skip that fuckin class!!! You ain't gonna pay attention anyway

    Also, last year I showed up saturday morning and we didn't really wheel much. It seemed like a whole lot more picture taking than wheeling. I wanna see and do some real wheeling this time :mudding:

    I really can't though. I have two tests on thursday. A&P II and Biochemistry. Then Cell biology lab on thursday afternoon and Introduction to research at noon friday. My lab on friday will get out early though so I might be able to head out friday at like 2 but we shall see.

    Just got off the phone with dude at lbl.

    Me: Yes sir I'm calling inquiring about turkey bay opening. Him: It's closed today because we had more rain last night but I'd call again tom and check because we have a lot of warm sunny days this week and it may be open so call and check again tom.

    That's very promising considering the blatant "no it will not be open" response I've gotten in the past.
