Not as long as you would think but if you do side trails and stop to eat and hang out in cool spots then it turns into one hell of an all day trip

We did it last fall. Stopped along the way to site-see and to eat. Made it into a 9-1/2 hour trip. Could probably blitz it in 3 or 4 hours, but what fun is that? We also stopped @ Upper and lower rock gardens to watch a few bouncers in action.

It was someone who lives in Southern Indiana, and they commented on not knowing about LBL trip until late last week and already had plans or he would have gone. He posted 8 pictures that were yours I believe. Now it's no longer there. EP facebook admin commented on EP and TW both being closed member sites.....Not sure who would have deleted it.

May be because of EP being a closed group.....and this is in their "events schedule" for the "Dirt Devil Run" to LBL on April 1st. The post with pictures is in a thread specific to that calendar of events. Many pictures of Everett's truck and a few others.

How do I join it? I don't really do Facebook anymore. No clue how to use it after all the updates the past few years.

Search "Indiana Overlanders" in FB and join. Not a bad group, primarily Jeep and Toyota people.

I hate I missed the ride at lbl. Im not but about an hour from there. How bad are the trails there? Me and some buddies might go up there in a couple weeks. I have a prerunner so I dont want to get in too much trouble, but I've learned not to underestimate it lol

A lot of the trails are doable in 2wd with some good tires. Just use your head and be smart about what you drive in to.

The only time I used 4wd was at the spot Everett and Gideon got stuck when we were night wheeling. People underestimate what can be done in 2wd and automatically put their truck into 4wd.

Yeah, I went into fourwheel when I gut hung on that baby hill 1st day 1st trail. I could have got it but was mildly embarrassed after stalling lol. Tried fourwheel to power through the stuck but to no avail. Two wheel is definitely more fun. Back in the day I would lock it in fourwheel before getting the tires dirty.
