I like the bed space (I have 2 kings and 2 twins) on the pop ups but setting them up and breaking down gets old. I do it nearly every weekend during duck season. Mine weighs about 2500 dry, I can get a 20Ft enclosed fully self contained that's damn near the same weight

Wind resistance is nice on a pop up though

Ah makes sense, I have to take baby steps and "justify" the upgrade to the wife :) So Tent this year, and then hopefully pop-up. Then stuff starts getting expensive ha

Pop ups aint cheap, "Anyone" can tow them makes them pricey. Just get a small enclosed. 13ft will sleep 2 with a shower. I'm looking between 17-23ft, I need to sleep 4 minimum

Well I have a whole year to research haha. I doubt I will be buying anything new. I forgot about smaller enclosed ones.

I would stay away from pop ups. I would rather have a converted enclosed. They make some nice lite trailers now. If a pop up is more than a tent on a flatbed they get pricey from what I've seen.

Still willing to haul out extra firewood. I'm brining my share but have plenty of room. Xmas only last so long.
