You're gonna hate me, but I got a stellar opportunity back home in California, so I'm a west coast fella again!

I'm going to the camper, otherwise, I'd go. But I'm not against going before the official meet, at least for a day ride, if not to camp as well.

Yes and yes, first day there last year. Thursday or Friday.
That particular spot has swallowed a few of us in various places and routes. Josh was riding with one of us at that time I believe, so he was our recovery expert/spotter.
    Yes please!
    Make it happen! Let's goooo!
Yup, and I got a real snatch now ;)

Rural King lied. That's all I have to say about that.

Let someone borrow that strap here at work, haven't gotten it back after a few months. Ain't care, but would be nice for a winch extension at least.

Any interest in my old "locker"?

    https://www.powertrax.com/traction-...9220803002/?crt_viaSearch=partkeyword:1615-LR
For 30 spline axles. Fits Tacos, T100s and maybe other things, idk.

The No-Slip was a bit more gentle than my Lock Right, but I'm getting used to it each day. It worked great off-road though!
Couplers and drivers in great shape, pinion shaft is as well.

You will need a spring and pin kit https://www.powertrax.com/traction-...001kav/?crt_viaSearch=path:part%3Arebuild-kit
And a new active spacer for one side, maybe you want both sides? https://www.powertrax.com/traction-...?crt_viaSearch=path:part%3Arebuild-kit;page:2

Does installation involve pulling the ring gear, checking backlash and all that?

No, should be a drop-in. Follow the first link, toward the bottom has install pdf

Edit: 100% drop-in application, buy the new parts needed and we'll do it at camp :sawzall:

Hmm, thinking it won't fit my carrier though. I have true LSD.

It says for Open Diff & a few people say it won't work with the LSD Carrier.

Find out if you have the 8.4 or 8 inch diff housing. That's the answer.

If you don't have a locking diff, you likely have the 8.4. Call or email ECGS and they'll figure out what you have

This. Toyota Elocker means 8, non elocker is 8.4. Anyone with no locker (deeed'$ potential customers) have the 8.4

I'm pretty sure I have an 8.4" given that I have the mechanical LSD rear.

I's confused. Deed's locker is for an 8" not an 8.4" Right? How did Deed's get an 8" rear if he didn't have the e-locker? Was that a 4cyl thing?

Nope, the locker is for the 8.4, I had an open diff.

I got my head on straight finally....

This won't work for me because I have the True LSD, which the LSD is integrated into the carrier, as seen here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-sport-limited-slip-differential-8-4.625994/

For reference, here's an open diff, notice the carrier is totally different:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/stock-rear-differential.663444/#post-23238648

So, to those that are smarter than me....In order for me to run a locker, I'd need an entire 8.4" 3rd member to swap in....or I'd need to swap my ring gear onto a carrier from an 8.4"? Right?

    Yes and yes, maybe.

Or, just buy that 3rd member from your second link, and it'll work. I'm sure you're likely 3.73 gearing, right?

I do have a grinder, we can always turn the LSD into open, then lock it back.
